Class Action Claims Opes Was Deceptive

SLATER & GORDON has launched a class action lawsuit against the failed margin lender Opes Prime and two of its financiers, ANZ Bank and Merrill Lynch, claiming that Opes was "recklessly indifferent with the truth" in its representations to clients and their understanding of the risks involved with the margin lending agreements they signed.
